Tlauncher (Linux)
A downloadable game for Linux
How to launch Launcher on Linux?
My original article. A very long time ago, back in 2011, a computer game called Minecraft, famous to this day, was released, founded by just one developer, a little later Mojang AB was bought out by the global company Microsoft.
How do we launch Launcher on linux ? It couldn't be simpler! I use an Ubuntu-based system, the entire installation can be described in just a few steps.
1. Go to the downloads panel below and download the jar archive from my link.
2. Go to the terminal and enter this command to install Java on linux:
$ sudo apt update && sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk
3. Action with the jar archive that was downloaded, drag it to the desktop, right-click, then properties > Rights
After going to the Rights tab, check the box "Allow file execution as a program". Each linux distribution has its own working environment, the names of the items may look different, including the windows, but the essence is the same
Success! Now right-click on our jar archive > open with help ... and select the application "open-JDK java 8" and that's it, personally the installation did not take me more than 2 minutes
Our result:
So we installed Java and launched Tlancher on the Linux kernel, the frame counter is overestimated more than on Windows, but this is logical, we do not run this game through Wine, but we do it by means of the system. I hope you liked the article! Play to your health
